Chloe Marie Foster

Chloe Marie Foster, 94, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville. She was born April 22, 1931, a daughter of the late Thomas and Blanche Walters Durbin.
Chloe was a graduate of Smith High School in Centerville, OH. She retired after many years from Riesbecks Food Market in Barnesville, OH, as an office worker. While having a busy work life, Chloe took pride in being an amazing mother and wife at home. She also was a woman of faith and active member of Centerville Christian Church. Her family looked up to her and her husband as a great example of a good Christian marriage. She enjoyed gardening and canning with her late husband, Charles, as well as spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles D. Foster; a daughter, Sara Yock; son-in-law, Thomas Lucas; great-grandchild, Gracie Lucas; sisters, Eula Mae Wilson and Hazel Durbin; and brothers, Clyde, Charles, and William (Bill) Durbin.
She is survived by her children, Charles R. Foster, Brenda (Frederick Hillerich) Lucas, Mary (Ernest) Grant, and Betty (Mark) Long; grandchildren, Heather McConnell, Jason Yock, Kenny Lucas, Douglas Lucas, Angela Milburn, Curtis Grant, and Joey Rogers; 20 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, OH. The Funeral Service will be the following day, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 12 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Don Eberhart officiating. The burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Centerville, OH.
