BHS Career Fair Planned
Kristi Sloan, career navigator for the Barnesville and Union Local school districts, is busy planning the BHS career fair that will take place November 25. Hours for the event are from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 pm. at the high school gymnasium.
Community Meeting Focuses on Downtown Revitalization
A community meeting set for 6-8 p.m. November 18 at the New Life Center, 219 W. Church St. will introduce the Barnesville Community to the Main Street Program coordinated in Ohio by Heritage Ohio.

The St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce was recognized as Ohio University Eastern’s 2025 Outstanding Community Partner Award recipient during the Engage OHIO 2025: Community and Place-Based Engagement Symposium, held Oct. 24 at the Ohio University Inn & Conference Center.
South Central Power Donation Supports State Theater
The Barnesville State Theater Project is one of three historic preservation projects awarded a $10,000 donation from the South Central Power Company this fall. The donation was matched by Co-Bank, a South Central lender.
