Watt Center Program: The Barn Artist – Feb. 27
The first program for Watt Center for History and the Arts program in 2025 will feature the BARN ARTIST, Scott Hagan, Thursday, February 27 at 7:00 for a presentation of his work.
Hunter Church/Residential Conversion
Last year, Barnesville Area News shared the closure and sale of the former Hunter Church of Christ, south of Bethesda at 58990 Hunter-Bethesda Road.
The building was purchased and recently renovated and converted into a residence by Tyler Construction, LLC.
Resident to Mark 104th Birthday
Make Dorotha Myers’ 104th birthday special by showering her with love and well wishes. Her big day is February 19th, and her friends at Emerald Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center hope to get at least 104 cards to celebrate her incredible milestone.
Departments Extinguish Truck Fire
Monday night, volunteers from Belmont, Bethesda and Morristown responded to a truck fire on Route 40 -National Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the rear tires and brakes burning. Firemen quickly doused the flames.
