Monroe County Sheriff Derek Norman reports that that Monroe County Deputies arrested a Calais resident following a Grand Jury Indictment on various sex crimes on August 11.

A Promise Kept
Retired Barnesville Enterprise’s Jean Davies, center, finally fulfilled a promise made to Barnesville Livestock Auction owner Darryl Watson. On August 9 prior to the weekly Saturday sale at the South Gardner Street auction house, Davies delivered a framed history of the business that dates to the 1940s.
