During its first meeting of 2026, Barnesville Village Council hired a new fire chief and assistant chief, considered whether to purchase a new ambulance and sold a dump truck.
OVI Results in 10-Year Prison Sentence
As expected, Tuesday afternoon Belmont County Court of Common Please Judge John Vavra sentenced Sandy Ridge resident Douglas Ryan Johnston to a maximum sentence for his 11th OVI charge. He will serve 10 years in the Ohio Prison System.
