Cheerleaders Claim State Contest

The Shamrock Cheerleaders competed in the Ohio High School Cheerleading Coaches Association contest in Upper Arlington Sunday. The Varsity squad claimed the crown for Best in State for Game Day Competition.

The Shamrocks will be active this week. Winter sports programs get underway and the Varsity Football Team travels south to take on the Wheelersburg Pirates for Region 19, Division V football semi-final play Friday night.

Lydia Fuchs won first place at the Ohio state level of the VFW Auxiliary’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest, receiving a $500 cash scholarship.
