At Saturday’s annual Barnesville High School Alumni Banquet, Tony Householder, 1970 BHS grad, was inducted into the Barnesville Area Education Foundation Hall of Fame. He was one of two inductees the other being Dick Gibson, class of 1958, who was unable to take part in the ceremony.

The Barnesville Goaliners are a group of alumni who have helped financially support Barnesville High School’s football stadium, Shamrock Stadium, at 512 Park St. This year, the group has decided to disband.
