James Benner, Sr., transportation planner/GIS coordinator for the Bel-O-Mar Regional Planning Council, was present at the November board meeting to describe the Safe Routes to School Travel program and to answer any questions.
School News – December 7
The Barnesville High School Key Club and the BHS student body recently decorated a yule tree in the lobby at the school. They extend thanks to the Davis Family, owners of the local Christmas tree farm, for their donation of the tree again this year.
Belmont College Awarded Grants
The grants will assist Ohio students take a credit or non-credit short-term certificate program.
Expansion of Shenandoah HS Planned
The 10- to 12-classroom expansion will accommodate seventh and eighth-grade students transitioning to the high school building.
