Christmas in the Ville

  • Thursday, December 5 – Tree Lighting Ceremony, East Main Street at Arch
  • Friday, December 6-7 – Craft Show, Downtown Activities 
  • Saturday, December 7 – Hissom Service Center Barnesville Lighted Christmas Parade, 5:30

Christmas in the Park with Santa – December 5

The Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library and Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for a special night at “Christmas in the Park” on Thursday, December 5 from 6:30-8:30. The event takes place at the Albert S. George Youth Center, 130 Fair Street. 

Children’s activities and light refreshments will be offered from 6:30-8:30. Santa will visit between 7:00-8:00. 

“Texas Reindeer”, Feature of Christmas in the Ville

Christmas in the Ville will be Dec 6 and 7. Due to the fact Reindeer are too expensive to haul to Barnesville, 50 Smiles, an International Champion Texas Longhorn Cow from Dickinson Cattle Co will attend the event. Stay tuned. Bring a camera. 5B’s Factory Outlet Sale – December 5-8

The annual holiday sale at the firm’s former factory location in Barnesville, 130 East South Street, will take place Thursday, December 5 through Sunday, December 8.    

Barnesville Flower Gardens Open House – December 6 & 7

Shelley Rockwell, owner of the Barnesville Flower Gardens, invites the public to an Open House in conjunction with Christmas in the Ville Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7. Hours are 9:00-4:00 on Friday and 9:00-3:00 Saturday.

Stop in for holiday décor, unique gifts, refreshments, prizes and drawings. “Join us for all your holiday needs.”

Johnson Family Pottery Christmas Opening – December 7

The Johnson Family Pottery’s popular Christmas Opening will take place Saturday, December 7 from 10:00- 2:00 at 118 East Main Street during “Christmas in the Ville”.    

Pancakes with the Grinch – December 7

The Barnesville Police Department will host “Pancakes with the Grinch”, Saturday, December 7 at the Albert S. George Youth Center, Barnesville Memorial Park. Serving hours for pancakes, sausage and drink are from 8:00-10:00. The cost is $5 per person. Photos with the Grinch available. All proceeds benefit a local cause.
