Enterprise Album

This late 1950s Barnesville Enterprise image submitted by Phyllis Bundy, was titled “Cold Weather Brought Out Eskimo in These Tacoma Boys”. Editor Bill Davies wrote “ Last week’s bitter cold spell closed down the Barnesville schools and the unexpected but welcome vacation brought out the Eskimo in three Tacoma youngsters who spent three hours of a zero day building an igloo.
The igloo which bore the inscription above the door, “No Girls Allowed” was constructed in front of the William Neely residence.
The builders, left to right, pictured Bill Neely, Jr., Larry Dietrich and Charles Bundy. Their canine companion, likely the Neely family dog, was not identified.
