Science Pub Focuses on Dysart Woods

The next Captina Conservancy’s Science Pub will focus on Dysart Woods, the plot of virgin timber located southeast of Belmont managed by the organization.

The featured speaker is Dr. Jacqueline Yahn, associate professor at Ohio University, who will also share the human impact on the landscape and her family’s history of conservation.   

The free event will take place at the Main Street Barrel House, 137 E. Main Street, Barnesville. Dinner is available for purchase by attendees at 6:00 before the program’s 7:00 start time.
