Majesty Quartet Concert at First Presbyterian Church
A musical group with a mission to share the Gospel through music will perform at the First Presbyterian Church in Barnesville this weekend.
Majesty Quartet from Logan County, Ohio, will perform in concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the First Presbyterian Church located at Church and Chestnut Streets. The event is free.
Band members Tim Walls, Ward McBrien, Rob Kilgore and Jerry Zellers follow God’s call to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song, according to their Facebook page.
The quartet presented their annual homecoming performance in Bellefontaine last September. An article in the local Bellefontaine Examiner provides a history of the group and its members.
Walls has connections to Barnesville as his mother, Ruth Anne Walls, and grandparents were members of the First Presbyterian Church. He has other family members in Barnesville who are also members of the church, including Nancy Murphy, his aunt, and Molly Wells, his cousin.
Walls called Murphy a couple months ago asking if the church would like the gospel quartet to come perform. Murphy said the church’s current minister, Bob Willits and the congregation are looking forward to the concert.
