Composites of BHS Reunion Classes Fill Downtown Windows

Thanks to the efforts of Sally Davies Johnson and her core of Shamrock volunteers, composites of Barnesville High School classes, beginning with the class of 1945, whose members will mark their 80th reunion year in 2025, through the class of 2020, whose members mark their first 5-year reunion, currently adorn the storefront windows of the downtown business district.
The Class of 1975, the second class to attend classes all four years at the new high school on Shamrock Drive, will mark its 50th anniversary this year.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to walk along East Main Street between Chestnut and Arch to discover the names of family and friends who are forever Shamrocks!
A special invitation is also extended to either take part in the All-Grad Parade led by the Barnesville High School Marching Band Saturday at 12:30 p.m. or stand along Arch and Main streets from East Church to the elementary school gym, cheering the participants on.
