Roger James Reischman

Roger J. Reischman, 79, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at WVU Medicine – Wheeling Hospital. He was born on September 1, 1945, in Miltonsburg, Ohio, to the late Raymond Bernard “Jimmy” and Edith P. (Kress) Reischman.
Roger was a 1965 graduate of Woodsfield High School. He retired after 40 years as a lineman at AEP and was a United States Army Veteran. Roger was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville and BPOE 1699.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, James Michael Reischman; infant brother, Raymond; brother, Fr. Virgil Reischman; sister-in-law, Joan Reischman; and brother-in-law, Michael Keith Welsh.
Roger is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia K. (Welsh) Reischman, whom he married on October 16, 1971; daughter, Terra Butler of St. Clairsville; grandsons, Luke Andrew Donathan and Aiden Michael Donathan; sister, Barbara Reischman of Miltonsburg; brother, Dale Reischman of Glendale, Arizona; special family, Mark Donathan; nephews, Christopher Reischman, Michael (Kristy) Reischman, and Joey Reischman; great-nieces & nephews, Ryan, Taylor, Katie Jo, and Mikey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 2pm until the time of the vigil service at 5:45pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10am at Assumption of the B.V.M. Catholic Church, 306 West Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
