HeeHaw Country Christmas Show Scheduled
A host of entertainers will grace the stage at 7 p.m., Nov. 20 for their annual Christmas variety show. The show will take place in the Barnesville High School auditorium for one night only.
Starting at 5 p.m., food will be served two hours prior to the show. The menu, provided by several friends and family, includes hot chicken sandwiches, sloppy joes, coney dogs, noodles, green beans, nachos and cheese, macaroni salad, pies and various drinks.
Scheduled to perform are Mike and Melinda Anderson, Matt Arnold, Mindy Wilson, Hannah Betts, Eden, Aven and Ensley Steele, Tony and Alana Huntsman and family, Tamara and Johnna Sroka, Jenna McCort, Natasha and Bryar Shilling, Kennedy Wilkinson, Brendon McKeen, Jessica Shaw, Taylor Johnson, Jean Daniels, Dustin Kildow, Eli and Ella Barricklow, June and Boone Butler, Lennon and Leo Sherman, Jim and Ruth Mayhugh, Twig Norris, Trace Roby and the HeeHaw Bums. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and Olaf will also make appearances.
Santa will be giving out treat bags beginning at 6 p.m. to all children.
Organizers promise to lift visitors’ spirits and put you in a festive mood. The show will provide wholesome fun for the entire family.
Discounted tickets are being sold in advance. The price for tickets will be $8 for adults and $6 for students. All children under the age of five will be admitted free of charge. All tickets at the door will be $10.

After expenses, proceeds will benefit Jay Lucas who is battling cancer. The community has united to show love, care and support for the Lucas family as a small token to show our love and togetherness.
A silent auction will also take place and a sale of holiday earrings will be sold with all proceeds going to the family.
Also, a highlight of the show will be that the Barnesville State Theater will be “100” years this day, and Sam Shuman will perform. There will be a table for sales and donations with all donations to the theater benefitting Jay. Sam will have two books that he has written for sale as well, and will be signing those.
