Dec. 3

Christmas in the Park lights up, 6 p.m., Memorial Park. The display is scheduled to run through Jan. 2.

Dec. 4

Tree Lighting, 5:30 p.m., Railroad Overpass, corner of E. Main and Arch Streets. Cookies and hot chocolate at the Senior Center, and the BHS chamber choir will be singing carols at the Memorial Plaza.

Dec. 5

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest Drop Off, 4-6 p.m., Bohandy Building, sponsored by Hartley and Marshall Accounting.

“Magic of Christmas” Tours, 5-8 p.m., Victorian Mansion Museum, 523 N. Chestnut St., $

Dec. 6

Pancakes with the Grinch, 8 a.m., Barnesville Elks, 117 N. Chestnut Street, sponsored by Barnesville Police Dept., $

Downtown Vendors, Ice Rink, daytime hours, Bohandy Building and W. Main St. Parking Lot.

Holiday Vendors, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Barnesville Elks Ballroom, sponsored by Fairview VFD

Holiday Vendors, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Main Street Barrel House Meeting Room, 137 E. Main St.

Ornament Walk, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Downtown Barnesville, sponsored by Barnesville Kiwanis Club.

Santa and Mrs. Claus, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Village Hardware, 265 S. Chestnut St., appearance with photo ops.

Santa’s Workshop, 11 a.m., Barnesville Elementary School Cafeteria, N. Broadway, children’s activities

Holiday Horse Carriage Rides, beginning at 1 p.m., Main Street Barrel House, horses by Heaven Sent Farm

Ohio Magazine Recognition, 2 p.m., downtown festival area, officials from Ohio Magazine will formally recognize Barnesville as one of five “Best Hometowns 2022-2026”,

Santa Spirit Sprint, 2:30, Start Location, 440 Watt Avenue, 5k walk and run, registration,$
