Tuesday Sledding Party!
Joe’s Tire Barnesville is taking advantage of the perfect early winter weather by staging a sledding party at the firm’s Barnesville location, 875 Shamrock Drive, beginning at 2:45 Tuesday afternoon.
Late Monday afternoon, it was announced Barnesville Schools will be closed on Tuesday. By evening, all local school districts had joined in, canceling classes a second day running.
While the company will offer a limited number of sledding tubes, participants are encouraged to bring along their own sleds or other means for downhill snow travel.
Joe’s will “be serving hot chocolate and cookies to warm up after some fun on the snow. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the winter weather with friends and family!”
