BHS Class of 1961 Marks 65th
BARNESVILLE – Classmates and guests will first gather on Friday evening, July 10, at the Barnesville Elks Lodge banquet room for dinner. The cost is $16 per person with cash bar. Send funds payable to Class of 1961, notation “Friday Reunion”, to Judy Smith Hannahs, 111 Westview Drive, Barnesville, OH 43713.
Saturday’s activities begin with the “All Grad Parade” through downtown Barnesville. Line-up is at the Barnesville Depot at 12:30. The procession ends at the former high school, now elementary gym, at the corner of W. Main and N. Broadway streets.
Saturday evening, the class will take part in the general Barnesville Alumni Banquet at the Barnesville Middle School. The cost is $20 per person. Send funds payable to Barnesville Alumni Banquet, c/o Rita Hall, 121 Pine Lane, Barnesville, OH 43713.
“This year we are happy to share our Friday evening event with other classmates because we want to celebrate BHS and America’s 250th Anniversary,” Hannahs said. “You will be able to see old friends, and it will be a lot of fun.”
Reservations for both meals is June 30.
