Downtown Clean Up, Meet and Greet Set
On Tuesday, July 7, members and volunteers for the newly-formed group, Main Street Barnesville, will be all over downtown Barnesville washing down the sidewalks and building fronts, pulling weeds, and collecting trash. Their efforts will be boosted by Taison Starr who will assist with his power washing machine!
Building owners and businesses are welcome to join in for a short time or all day. Refreshments will be provided. Hours for the clean up are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
After everything is “all shined up,” Main Street Barnesville is hosting a “Meet and Greet” gathering at the Biergarten of the Blue Moon Tavern. Come, enjoy good food, and find out about the mission of Main Street and how it is a part of the process to develop a vibrant downtown district!
Main Street Barnesville is part of the successful national Main Street America downtown revitalization network as a member of Heritage Ohio’s Ohio Main Street program.
Main Street Barnesville recently received word from the Internal Revenue Service that the group is recognized as an official 501c3 nonprofit organization.
