The Country Store and Museum building at 115 West Main Street, Quaker City, has come a long way since this photo was taken in 1982.
With new material and displays added each year, Ohio Hills Folk Festival visitors will want to take the short walk to and take in this building.
Homemade Ice cream and mini donuts will be offered for sale.
On the museum side, visitors may delight in old pictures of Quaker City, dairy farms, cigar businesses, items from local stores, as well as information on Quaker City natives who made a life of it “under the big top” working for circuses
The Country Store museum was home to the Hartley Hardware Store that was founded in 1872. The company was incorporated in 1912. After the store closed, it became a festival staple.
