Temperanceville Picnic at St. Mary’s
TEMPERANCEVILLE – The St. Mary’s Temperanceville Church’s annual picnic is scheduled for Sunday, July 26. The church is located on SR 379 in Somerset Township.
From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., BBQ chicken and roast beef dinners, with sides, will be enjoyed in the parish hall or may be taken out.
A baked goods stand will also be available.
The event is a homecoming for many, but all guests are encouraged to enjoy a day of socialization, good food, bingo, games and prizes.
Temperanceville Parish is the second oldest in the entire state of Ohio. It was founded by Irish settlers in 1822. Only St. Joseph’s Parish in Somerset, Perry County, is older.
