Miltonsburg Picnic Set for August 2
MILTONSBURG – The Miltonsburg community, and specifically St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish, swells in size the first Sunday each August for the annual “Miltonsburg Picnic.”
This year the picnic takes place Sunday, August 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church parish hall, 35560 Miltonsburg-Calais Rd, Woodsfield.
The dinner will include country style chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, noodles, dressing, roll, homemade desserts and drinks.
People can purchase raffle tickets, purchase baked goods and enjoy games.

Mass will be offered at the church that morning at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Nicholas Ward serves St. John’s and St. Sylvester’s in Woodsfield.
