Monday, August 10, 2026

1:08 am – male on station regarding a domestic situation on West Captina Highway.

6:54 am – alarm drop on East Main Street. Signal was for the rear basement door.

9:41 am – Mahoning County Coroner’s officer called asking that an officer make a death notification.

10:09 am – officer spoke to a female regarding a missing weed eater. She stated that she didn’t take the weed eater. She was told not to return to the property where the weed eater was taken.

10:20 am – traffic stop on Watt Avenue.

10:49 am – officer on East Main Street speaking with a male about shooting guns in the village. The male said it was not him and the sounds came from Shamrock Drive.

10:59 am – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Citation issued for speed.

11:05 am – officer on Railroad Street regarding a car parked in the bike lane, again.

2:04 pm – officer on West South Street for a death notification. Officer reported that the house is not occupied and no contact was made.

2:05 pm – person on station speaking to an officer in regards to a hit/skip accident.

2:15 pm – officer on North Broadway Street speaking with a male regarding the hit/skip accident. Male said he saw a younger male picking things up off of the street and running through the lawns. Officer will patrol the area and look for a damaged vehicle.

4:55 pm – female caller reports there are a truck and tractor stuck in the middle of Railroad Street.

8:03 pm – female on station requesting to speak to an officer about a protection order.

8:27 pm – person on station arguing about the custody of their children.

8:41 pm – female caller from Mackey Drive regarding someone throwing rocks at her window and blocking her door.

9:27 pm – officer on State Route 800 South with a vehicle accident.

9:39 pm – female caller reporting a dead fawn in the roadway on South Leatherwood Road.

9:52 pm – female caller wants to file a report about someone entering her house today while she wasn’t home. Dispatcher advised her to call the Belmont Sheriff’s Department since she lives on Mt. Olivett Road outside of the village and police jurisdiction.

10:34 pm – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.

11:23 pm – traffic stop on County Road 122.

Tuesday, August 11, 2026

12:09 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.

6:12 am – traffic stop on West Main Street.

6:27 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street. Warning for trailer lights.

8:44 am – follow up investigation on North Broadway Street. Officer took information for a report.

8:50 am – caller reports around Tacoma an old-style sedan all over the roadway. The camera observed the vehicle on Railroad Street traveling in the wrong lane. Officer stopped the vehicle on Mulberry Street and the driver said his windows were steaming up.

11:51 am – caller wanting to talk with an officer.

2:52 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Beeology for no visible tag. Consent to search granted and officer reported negative on the search.

4:18 pm – female caller from Warren Avenue regarding cars parked in front of her house and in front of the fire hydrant.

4:22 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.

4:40 pm – male caller reporting that there is a silver jeep with a blue door with two males that are behaving suspiciously. Officer located the vehicle at McDonald’s and reported that the vehicle is unoccupied at this time.

5:11 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Dollar General.

7:31 pm – traffic stop on Bailey Road. Warning issued for speed.

8:30 pm – male on station stating he thinks people are messing with his property on Gobblers Knob Road while he is working the night shift.

 8:34 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street. Consent to search granted. Officer reported nothing was found on search.

10:04 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. K9 involved in the search.  A metal container found with unknown powder residue.

11:29 pm – officer on Summit Avenue with juveniles who are out past curfew. One juvenile states he can’t remember his address and doesn’t know his phone number.

11:54 pm – traffic stop on West Main Street.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026

8:44 am – person on station regarding a parking issue on Warren Avenue.

11:47 am – follow up investigation on Railroad Street.

3:53 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for taillights.

4:01 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Michelli Drive. Warning issued for speed.

7:28 pm – female caller from South Chestnut Street regarding her son and another child who were at S. Chestnut and South Streets. A man in a gray pickup truck stopped and made inappropriate sexual comments to the boys.

8:48 pm – officer on Railroad Street issuing a parking violation.

 10:39 pm – female on station to turn in a wallet that she thinks her daughter may have stolen.

Thursday, August 13, 2026

8:19 am – officer was flagged down at the Memorial Park regarding vandalism to the Rotary Club Shelter House and grass being torn up by E-Bikes.

9:02 am – report of an accident on East Main Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles are off the roadway at Joe’s Tire.

9:39 am – officer on foot on Hunts Avenue.

11:34 am – follow up investigation on Mulberry Street.

1:52 pm – officer flagged down on Roosevelt Road regarding speeding vehicles. Person advised the officer that they could sit in the gravel lot and monitor the road.

2:28 pm – follow up investigation on East Main Street.

2:44 pm – disabled vehicle with a trailer on the Barnesville Hill.

6:05 pm – female caller from Warren Avenue regarding her neighbors revving their motorcycles all day long. She also stated the neighbors are yelling at each other in the front yard.

9:22 pm – two juveniles on station to talk to an officer about an incident that occurred on Henderson Street involving E-Bikes and an adult who was threatening them.

9:47 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.

10:19 pm – male caller called 911 stating that he is on Walnut Avenue and can see a flame in the sky towards the airport. Officer reported that it is the well pad burning off gases.

11:43 pm – male on station reporting that he was driving on Harris Road near the Peters Pit. He saw a man standing by a ditch who appeared to be smoking something.

Friday, August 14, 2026

1:37 am – alarm drop on East Main Street. Officer reported all is secure.

10:21 am – traffic stop on Mulberry Street.

10:55 am – vehicle lockout on East Main Street.

1:58 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

3:52 pm – runaway or unruly person on Sycamore Street.

3:15 pm – caller from Sycamore Street advising a situation is verbally escalating between parties. Officer called Sargus Detention Center for physical domestic charges.

5:17 pm – caller reporting an accident at the Walgreens’s parking lot. No injuries were reported. Dispatcher advised them to come to the station to fill out a report.

7:50 pm – caller from Leatherwood Road reporting a juvenile on a E-Dirt Bike riding in the street. Officer reported he had negative contact with the juvenile.

9:55 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street. Warning issued.

10:55 pm – traffic stop on State Route 147 near Tacoma. Officer performed field sobriety test. Sobriety had zero indicators.

10:35 pm – traffic stop on West Main Street near Dominos parking lot. Male states that he just bought the truck and will be transferring the title soon.

11:12 pm – traffic stop on Henderson Street. Warning issued for brake lights.

11:38 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

11:56 pm – traffic stop on West Church Street. Warning for speed and expired tag.

 Saturday, August 15, 2026

12:26 am – traffic stop on Cherry Street. Warning issued for turn signal.

1:34 am – traffic stop on State Route 800 South. Consent to search granted. Warning issued for left of the center line.

4:53 pm – 911 requested an officer to be sent to Sycamore Street for a violent male throwing and breaking items. He was trying to hit the caretaker. Officer and EMS squad enroute.

7:01 pm – officer at the Blue Moon Tavern attempting to serve an ALS ( Administrative License Suspension Form) form.

7:13 pm – officer flagged down on East South Street regarding taking the male home that was violent in an earlier call. The male is being violent with the driver. Male is now with the EMS squad and the officer talking at the scene with a case worker.

9:00 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

9:27 pm – officer spoke to two juveniles on E-Bikes on South Broadway Street. Office told them to turn on their lights so they do not get struck by a vehicle.

9:49 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street checking on a car to make sure they are all good.

11:43 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue near the Certified Service Station parking lot. Officer reported that the driver was okay to drive.

Sunday, August 16, 2026

1:47 am – officer on Watt Avenue checking out a white minivan parking in the area.

2:20 am – caller from Bond Avenue reporting waking up to noise and his truck was running. He said the door to the house was open. Caller doesn’t think anything was taken.

3:59 am – traffic stop on West Main Street.

5:21 am – assisting EMS squad at the Barnesville Manor Apartments on North Street.

7:24 am – assisting EMS squad on North Broadway Street for a possible overdose.

2:09 pm – traffic stop on East South Street. Consent to search granted. Officer reported negative on the search and advised the driver not to drive.

3:24 pm – caller reports a tree hit her car on South Chestnut Street near the cemetery.

3:25 pm – caller advised of a tree down on Leatherwood Road.

8:10 pm – caller reports the light is on the Shamrock Drive lift station.

9:23 pm – vehicle lockout on Pine Lane.

11:16 pm – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street. Warning given for speed.

11:58 pm – alarm drop on South Chestnut Street. Keyholder didn’t give correct credentials. Officer reported that the building was secured.
