Museum Plans Mobility Ramp Dedication
A project in the works for some time is set for use for the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival.
Officials of the Belmont County Historical Society, parent organization of the Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum, will dedicate a mobility ramp at 1 p.m., Thursday, September 24 at the museum, 532 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville.
According to a release by the museum, the “mobility ramp was made possible by the generous donation from South Central Power Company’s Project Round Up and materials donated by Buckeye Steel, Inc. of Barnesville.”
In addition to museum officials, representatives of South Central Power and Buckeye Steel and members of the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to mark the occasion.
The release also shared that Nick Cross from PALS Ohio will be on hand. PALS is a “community-based program providing adult day services, residential support, and vocational training to help adults with developmental disabilities lead independent, active lives.”
Refreshments will be available for attendees following the ceremony.
