UL Homecoming Royalty
MORRISTOWN – It was “all in the family” Friday night at Jets Stadium as twins, Emily Perzanowski and Brody Perzanowski were selected as Union Local Homecoming Queen and King pulling “white roses” during halftime ceremonies.
In addition to the royalty honors, it was a special night for Brody, senior running back, “as he became the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) all-time rushing leader passing the legendary Quincy Wilson (6,161) of Weir High by running for a school-record 316 yards and bringing his career total to 6,165 and counting,” according to a statement by the Buckeye 8 Athletic League.
The Jets easily handled the Buckeye Local Panthers 54-7 upping their record to 7-1 on the season.
