Pennyroyal Opera Features Nothin’ Fancy
The Pennyroyal Opera House, Fairview, will host the Bluegrass Band, Nothin’ Fancy, on October 24.
Nothin’ Fancy is a bluegrass band based in Buena Vista, Virginia, and was formed in September 1994. Its “parent band”, East Coast Bluegrass Band, was formed the Summer 1985 to compete in the East Coast Bluegrass Championship in Crimora, Virginia.
Members of the band are Mike Andes, Chris Sexton, James Cox, Jacob Flick and Curt Gausman.
The kitchen opens at 5 p.m. with the show opening at 7 p.m. featuring the warm up band Blue Diggity.
Tickets are $20 (cash) with children 12 and under free.
The Pennyroyal Opera House is operated by volunteers.
