Dysart Woods Hike Launches First Sunday Walks

Due to impending weather conditions, the walk Sunday, January 5 is canceled. The first walk will take place Sunday, February 2.

The Captina Conservancy is kicking off 2025 with a new hiking series- the first Sunday of every month we’ll be hosting a guided a hike at Dysart Woods. This first walk is this Sunday, January 5 at 2:00.

Come watch the seasons change, get to know your local woods, meet some new friends, and keep moving! Every month’s hike will have a different theme- this month is Intro to Dysart!

The hike will take about two hours and includes some uneven trails and steep hills. Please bring sturdy shoes and weather appropriate gear. Hikes will be held rain, (snow!), or shine! Water will provided before and after the hike. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. Email Marshall with questions at: dysartwoods@captina.org
