Upcoming Public Meetings

Barnesville Council Work Session. Council will meet with representatives of the Barnesville State Theater Company group to discuss renovations of the State Theater on West Main Street. The public meeting will take place in the council chambers on Monday, January 6 at 7:00.

The January meeting of the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce will take place, Wednesday, January 8 at the New Life Center at 12:00 Noon. The luncheon meeting is sponsored by the Jarvis Law Group.

Union Local School District Organizational Meeting. The meeting will take place, Wednesday,  January 8 at 6:00 at the High School Learning Center. The January regular meeting will follow. 

Barnesville School Board Organizational Meeting. The meeting for2025 will take place Thursday, January 9 at 5:15 in the Middle School Cafetorium. The election of officers for the year will take place during this meeting. The regular January Board meeting will follow. 

Somerset Township Trustees will hold their 2025 reorganizational meeting on Saturday January 11th at 8:00 in the morning. This meeting will take place at the township garage.
