Project BEST Recognizes Area Health Facilities
WHEELING – Project BEST hosted its annual awards program at the Wheeling Island Hotel last Thursday evening.
Project Best executive director Nathan Butts, welcomed over 200 people to the event and honored 24 area businesses for advocating for union work in the Upper Ohio Valley.
Local entities receiving awards of appreciation were Ohio Hills Health Centers and WVU Medicine for projects at Barnesville Hospital, Reynolds Memorial and Wheeling Hospital.
Project Best advocates for union work, industry development, apprenticeship programs, fair wages, benefits, and responsible contracting, ensuring quality jobs and skilled workers for the region’s growth.
