Cain Veterinary Service Opens

Signs went up this past weekend near the intersection of E. Main Street and Roosevelt Road for Cain Veterinary Service which is located at 269 Roosevelt Road, the longtime residence of the late Jerry and Eloise Ward.

The business is now listed as a Facebook Business Page noting, “We are an ambulatory large animal practice. We care for many species including bovine, equine, small ruminant and swine”.

Dr. Allie Cain, DVM, practices general large animal medicine in Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, and Noble counties. Dr. Cain also travels to West Virginia.

In addition to Cain, Katie Martin is a Registered Veterinarian Technician (RVT) at the practice.

Services include but are not limited to wellness examinations, vaccinations, general surgical procedures, reproductive medicine as well as emergency medical care.
