Thursday, February 12, 2026
8:19 am – Reco Road, Belmont. Mailbox vandalized. A deputy responded and reported that there was no damage to the mailbox, however there was damage to the post.
7:06 pm – Pigeon Point Road, Barnesville. Complainant reports, then reports back that phone harassment and threats continue. Deputy obtained information to forward to Zanesville Police Department.
8:24 pm – Bethesda-Belmont Road, Bethesda. Warning issued to motorist for traffic violation.

7:45 am – Reco Road, Belmont. Caller reports there is a male behind the hotel. Caller believes he has been in and out of the hotel for the past two days. Male stayed at the hotel and checked out Wednesday night. Caller wants the male off the property.
12:58 pm – National Road, Belmont. Deputy on site for eviction that is now scheduled for Feb. 17.
2:26 pm – Chapel Hill Road, Belmont. Trespasser reported on property. Photo taken of individual for review.
3:42 pm – Chapel Hill Road, Belmont investigation and follow up to earlier report of trespasser.
4:34 pm – Heather Lane, Flushing. Manager of apartment complex reports issues with an individual tenant. Report filed.

4:51 am – N. 26 Road, Bethesda, Caller reports work-related issues. Wants call record filed. Nothing criminal is happening. Caller advised to contact HR of company.
11:19 am – Coen Road Belmont, Caller came on station to report a banking check was tampered with. Information collected for report.
12:43 pm – West Main Street, Holloway. Caller reports driver is doing “donuts” in parking lot. Deputy reports car is now parked nearby. Deputy spoke with owner who said he was accidentally turning around in the lot.

10:22 am – Flat Rock Road, Barnesville. Deputy assisted Belmont County Hoof & Paw on a search warrant at an address on the Somerset Township Road.
1:53 pm – Smith Avenue, Quaker City. A complainant from an address on Smith Avenue in Quaker City came to station to have an officer speak to a juvenile about being unruly. Both are Guernsey County residents. Deputy spoke with both and referred them to the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office if issues persist.
8:57 pm – Barnesville. Caller requested welfare check on a juvenile female. Deputy spoke to the juvenile and parents. The issue is related to a falling out between the juvenile and the caller, an alleged 14-year-old online Maryland friend. The juvenile showed text messages between the two showing the online friend threatening to send police to the home. No threats reported. Future out-of-state calls of this nature may be false.

8:58 am – Main Street, Morristown. Deputy out with a vehicle that was blocking the roadway a second time at the location. Deputy spoke to the owner advising them to move it or it would be ticketed next time.
11:14 am – Oak Hill Road, Lafferty. Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a semi was stuck. Deputy dispatched.
2:31 pm – National Road and Stein Road, Morristown. Deputy out with a semi blocking both lanes of traffic on U.S. 40. The semi was moved.
2:34 pm – Reservoir Hill Road, Flushing. Caller reports landlord is threatening him. Officers responded. Landlord advised on the eviction process.
7:35 pm – South Main Street, Bethesda. Caller reports that a male is playing loud music. Officer responded and patrolled the area but heard no music.
Tuesday, February 17, 2026
12:16 pm – Summit Avenue, Bethesda. Deputy responded for a report of a landlord breaking into a complainant’s house. The landlord was reminded to give a 24-hour notice.
4:17 pm – Lake Road, Belmont. Officers out with a complainant of an argument with a landlord over a dog.
9:17 pm – National Road, Belmont, Deputy on site for an eviction. Locks changed.
Wednesday, February 18, 2026
4:31 am. East Main Street, Holloway. Dispatch reports a male was being chased by a suspicious person. Deputies responded. The male cannot or will not provide information about the incident, The male was transported to BellStores in St. Clairsville and advised not to use law enforcement as a taxi service.
8:43 am – Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Deputy dispatched to school to take a report about an alleged sex offense that occurred in an adjacent county. Child Protective Services was notified as well as officials in the other county.
10:20 am – South Chestnut Street, Barnesville. Complainant came to the station to report a scam. Information taken for a report.
3:40 pm – Flushing-Holloway Road, Flushing. Deputy responded to an address for a deer that needed to be put down.
6:29 pm – Holloway. Caller reports that they and a 17-year-old family member had an argument. Caller was bitten then the child ran off. Someone from the pizza shop in town called and reported that the juvenile was there and wanted to be picked up. An officer gave the child a ride home.
7:23 pm – Union Township. A female came to the station to report an assault that allegedly occurred on a school bus that afternoon. Party was unable to reach anyone at the school when the incident occurred, she said. Deputy obtained information about the incident and about the parties involved.
8:17 pm – Caller reported a possible homeless male walking back and forth between the wooded area behind the RV park to the main road on Bond Drive in Morristown. The subject was carrying groceries and other items. Officers patrolled the area but did not locate the male.
