Pennyroyal Opera House Features Nu-Blu
FAIRVIEW – The Pennyroyal Opera House will host a bluegrass show April 24 featuring Nu-Blu, a bluegrass and Americana band hailing from Siler City, North Carolina.
Over the past two decades, members of the group have dedicated themselves to crafting music that resonates deeply with our listeners, blending traditional sounds with contemporary storytelling.
Nu-Blu was founded in 2003 by husband-and-wife duo, Carolyn and Daniel Routh. Carolyn leads with powerful vocals and bass playing, while Daniel brings versatility with guitar, vocals.
Other members of the band are Austin Hefflefinger on vocals, banjo and guitar, and Justin Harrison on mandolin, fiddle, and percussion.
Nu-Blu, that marked its 20th anniversary in 2024, has five Top Ten Billboard albums and has reached broader audiences as hosts of the internationally syndicated TV show “Bluegrass Ridge,” reaching 120 million homes in the US and five countries worldwide.

The kitchen and doors open at 5 p.m. with the show getting underway at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person, 12 and under are FREE.
