Almost Famous Reunion Bluegrass Show at Pennyroyal Opera House

A special feature at the Pennyroyal Opera House in Fairview at 7 p.m. , May 15 will be a reunion of the Almost Famous Band.

The Almost Famous Reunion will take the audience through every era of the band, beginning with its roots as the Abercrombie family band, Casual Water, and progressing through each major lineup of Almost Famous.

The reunion show will follow the full timeline of the band — starting as Casual Water, then moving through the early and later eras of Almost Famous. A detailed history of the band’s development is posted on a program event page on Facebook.

Musicians for the reunion may include the following:

Ryan Abercrombie (guitar)
Ken Abercrombie (mandolin)
Kelly Abercrombie (banjo)
Ernie Abercrombie (bass)
Steven Moore (banjo)
Harold Dailey (bass)
Micah Fuchs (guitar)
Josh Hetrick (guitar)
Bob Rush (fiddle)
Zeke Hutchison (mandolin)
Brendyn Herald (fiddle)

The Opening Band on the 15th is Brother Randall and Friends.

The doors open at 5 p.m. with the program starting at 7 p.m. The full kitchen will be available.

Tickets are $20 per person (cash only), 12 and under are FREE. Seating is first come, first seated. Reservations are not accepted.
