Richard C. Swallie

Richard C. Swallie, of Barnesville, passed away peacefully at Liza’s Place on June 16, 2026. He was born on October 12, 1944, a son of the late Leroy and Goldie (Huntsman) Swallie.

Rich enjoyed being outdoors. He liked hunting and fishing. He played ball as a boy and loved watching his children and grandchildren do the same. He was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather; and will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Linda J. Swallie; children, Mindy (Tony) Smith, Jim (Nikki) Swallie, Jason (Stacy) Swallie; grandchildren, Katana, Kirin, Brooke, Hannah, Jadyn, Jalyn; plus seven great-grandchildren.
