Piers Rising on I-70/SR 149 Project
MORRISTOWN – Construction of piers that will carry I-70 over SR 149 at the Morristown interchange is underway.
In June, it was announced that construction would initially shift traffic as land preparation work got underway on the $27 million project that is expected to take two years to complete.
SR 149 will be six lanes wide when the project is completed. Barnesville Area News reported on the project in June and earlier when the project was initially announced in January 2025.
