The Tab is Out!

The 2026 Barnesville Pumpkin Festival Tab is out at various locations throughout the community.  The 72-page publication, containing all things about the 62nd edition of the popular fall festival, is a comprehensive guide for visitors and local residents alike.

The tab was also shared as an insert in the Times Leader for western Belmont County subscribers and counter sales in the weekend edition, Sept.12-13.

The publication also shared that the 2026 festival is dedicated to the memory of Timothy Rockwell, longtime leader of the group, who died this past year at the age of 59.

In addition, Rockwell’s honor will be observed as he is posthumously honored as the Pumpkin Parade Marshal.

The official, honorary festival ribbon cutter this year is Becky Carpenter Hunkler, Barnesville resident and counseling professional. Becky was the first pumpkin festival queen in 1968, the year the festival moved from the Catholic Church/ School to the downtown.

As soon as an electronic copy of the publication is posted by festival officials, Barnesville Area News will share the link with our readers.
