Barnesville ‘Halloween Spooktacular’
Downtown Barnesville was full of goblins, witches, ghosts, and even super heroes, Thursday night as the Village of Barnesville and Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual business district Trick or Treat. Two nights earlier, many of the same costumed characters trekked about town through the residential neighborhoods. In addition to the Trick or Treating, the Steed family at the corner of Cherry and Arch streets hosted their popular display that this year was titled “King Jack’s Pumpkin Patch.”
While activities in Barnesville are past, most area communities will observe Trick or Treat on Halloween Saturday night. A complete list was published in Barnesville Area News. View the list here.

Several community parties and Trunk or Treat events were also on tap this year, including one at both of Barnesville’s Skilled Nursing facilities – Emerald Pointe and The Enclave of Barnesville. Displays at Emerald Pointe’s event of October 22 remain in place. A photo array of displays follows.
