Spectacular Winners of the Pumpkin Decorating Contest
At the Pumpkin Festival, entrants used their imaginations and crafty talents to compete in the Decorated Pumpkin Contest.
Pumpkins and gourds were transformed into creative masterpieces using paint, natural materials and other items. The pumpkins could be carved but had to be mostly decorated and no bigger than 36″ x 36″.
The Billy Crawford Memorial Trophy was awarded to the Best of Show, a baking turkey in the oven created by Sadie Anderson.
First place winners received a trophy and ribbon. Trophies were donated by Carolyn Bunting and Valerie Householder. The Barnesville Pumpkin Festival officials provided the winner list.
