The Barnesville Coin Club will meet in the community room of Barnesville Manor, 485 North Street, at 1:30. All are welcome.   

Dysart Woods Invasive Plant Removal – April 26

Join volunteers at Dysart Woods, Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 – 1:00 pulling invasive species in the woods.

 Invasive species cut off our native plants from sunlight and the best method of control is community. Come join our volunteer crew as we pull invasive species at Dysart Woods! We will have extra gloves, and some tools provided but you’re welcome to bring your own. Water will be provided but there is no bathroom facility at Dysart. The address is 61919 Dysart Woods Rd.

Barnesville Depot Committee Meeting – April 28

The April meeting of the Barnesville Depot Committee will take place Monday, April 28 at 5:00 at the Barnesville Library Annex. Volunteers are always needed. Come and join in as we plan a new chapter for this storied Barnesville historic landmark

Lafferty VFD Mother’s Day Flower Sale Fundraiser

The volunteer fire department is selling hanging flower baskets for Mothers Day. All sales benefit the fire department and its mission. 

The cost is $25 per basket with pre-orders taken until April 30. Payment may be made by PayPal or Venmo. 

Baskets pick up times are Thursday and Friday, May 1-2 from 12:00-6:00 at the Lafferty Fire Station.

Flushing United Methodist Rummage Sale – May 1 & 2  

Members of the church located at 301 High Street, Flushing will hold their semi- annual Rummage Sale, Thursday, May 1 from 9:00-4:00 and Friday, May 2, 9:00-2:00. Friday is $2.00 bag day.  

Belmont County Agricultural Society Annual Steak Fry – May 3

Belmont County Agricultural Society Steak Fry will take place Saturday, May 3 at the Wise Building on the fairgrounds. Doors open at 5:00.  Bring your cooking utensils, seasoning, and table service. The meal consists of steak, baked potato and dessert. The cost is $20.
