Batesville Legion Benefit Dinner – June 7
The Batesville American Legion will sell dinners on Saturday, June 7th from 1:00-5:00 at the Post Home as a benefit for Lanny Neiswonger who has been a member of the Batesville American Legion for over 40 years on Saturday June 7th, 1pm-5pm. Lanny is a veteran and holds the position as Adjutant. We are accepting donations for the country store and desserts the day of the benefit.
The Dinner consists of choice of meat- chicken or port, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw and roll. Desserts will also be available for purchase. The cost per dinner is $15.
Epworth Park Summer Concert Series Launches on June 7
The annual summer concert series at the amphitheater at Bethesda’s Epworth Park will launch on Saturay, Jun 7 featuring the band “One the Rocks”. The concert begins at 7:00.
Concerts will be featured during the annual Chautauqua Days on July 12 and again on August 16.
Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary Hosts Ice Cream Island – June 11
The Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary will hold a fundraiser on Wednesday, June 11 from 4:00 to 7:00 in the hospital parking lot. Ice Cream Island is coming to town, and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary.
