Santa’s Spirit Sprint – December 7
The annual Santa’s Spirit Sprint 5k and 1M Run or Walk will take place in Barnesville Saturday, December 7 at 2:00. The race launches from The Rock Gymnasium at 400 Watt Avenue near the Watt Center for History and the Arts. The event is sponsored by the Barnesville Grand Prix Racing Series.
“Help us help the less fortunate children in our area this Christmas! All proceeds fill the Wish Lists of 20+ kids.
Participants may Run or Walk the 5k or the 1M or earn a Challenge Medal by completing BOTH distances.
- There are nearly 100 Pottery awards for the Miler
- 130 new, unique, one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted trophies for the 5k
- An additional 20 plaques for the Top 5 lowest combined times
“Come dressed in your favorite holiday outfit and you could win the “Most Festive” Award.
All participants are eligible for nearly 100 Door Prizes, lots of post-race food, Donley’s Delicious Delights homemade cookies and hot cocoa.
All registrants receive a Christmas ornament and an optional T-shirt.
After the race, stick around for Christmas in the ‘Ville and the Barnesville Christmas Parade.
Donations and Wish List items may be brought to the event.
