BHS Students Invited to Express School Spirit Through Fun Themes

Homecoming Spirit Week is from October 6-10. Each day features a theme for students and staff to show their school spirit. Other activities during the week include: the bonfire, school assembly featuring skits, the football game against The Linsly School, and the homecoming dance. So, students, get ready to show your Shamrock Spirit!

Barnesville Area Election Races and Levies

he November 4 General Election is less than a month away. Citizens who are not registered to vote must register by Monday, October 6. Early voting begins Tuesday, October 7 and concludes Sunday, November 2.

Voters wishing to vote absentee must submit ballot requests by Tuesday, October 28.

Election Day poll hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Janet Kay Secrest, 66, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on October 2, 2025.  She was born on December 13, 1957 to the late Charles and Grace (Burkhart) Adkins. Janet was a Nurse’s Aid and a homemaker.  She was a devout follower of Jesus and attended the Bethesda Church of Christ.  Janet loved to read […]
