The Barnesville Community Foundation’s Annual Meeting that took place October 13 included the election of officers and trustees for the coming year.
The Kiwanis Pancake Day will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Assumption Catholic Church basement. This is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with tickets at $10 for adults, $5 for ages five to 12 and free for those under three.

Francis Lucas Jr., 62, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away October 23rd, 2025. He was born in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Francis Lucas Sr. and Edna (Huntsman) Lucas.
