The staff and board of trustees of Bellaire Public Library will host a grand opening of their Local History Center and Bellaire Room Archives from 1-4 p.m. this coming Friday, October.

Local Quilt History Comes to the Watt Center
The Watt Center for History and the Arts is preparing to bring a program with history about Eastern Ohio Quilts of the 1800s.
Barnesville native and Barnesville High School alumna Terry Tickhill will present the quilt program at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Watt Center. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Ribbon Cutting Opens 2025 Festival

State Theater Company Achieves Funding Goal, Marks First Century
Wednesday afternoon as activities for the pumpkin festival were gearing up, members and supporters of the Barnesville State Theater Company celebrated achieving a $50,000 fund drive match raising $100,000 in the “100 days of summer” for renovations of the theater.
