The long awaited SR 147 paving project from Barnesville to Belmont launched early Tuesday morning as crews from Shelly and Sands began grinding down the existing pavement along East Main Street.

Effective Friday, May 29, SR 148 was closed to traffic 1.5 miles west of Armstrong Mills at the bridge over the Captina Creek. The duration of the closure is unknown.
