Departments Extinguish Truck Fire
Monday night, volunteers from Belmont, Bethesda and Morristown responded to a truck fire on Route 40 -National Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the rear tires and brakes burning. Firemen quickly doused the flames.

Sandy Ridge Fire Update
Barnesville Fire Chief Tim Hall reports the state fire marshal’s inspection at the Sandy Ridge residence, site of a fire, Friday, January 31, reveals the cause “undetermined” at the present time.
