Ohio University Eastern Honors Class of 2026 at Graduation Recognition Ceremony
Ohio University Eastern celebrated the achievements of its graduates during the Graduation Recognition Ceremony last night in St. Clairsville.
Belmont County Enrichment Fund Grants Announced
Recipients of the Belmont County Enrichment Fund (BCEF) 2026 grants gathered at Ebbert Farms on Tuesday to receive funding to help achieve their goals of supporting their communities.
The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) announced this year’s grant recipients, awarding a total of $66,463 to 13 organizations serving Belmont County.

Early Voting Continues Through Sunday
Belmont County residents may vote absentee at the county board of elections office through Sunday afternoon. The office is located at 52180 National Road, St. Clairsville.
Spring Cleaning
Jimmy Grear spent a beautiful, warm Monday afternoon volunteering his time power washing the monuments, benches and memorials at the downtown Barnesville Veterans Corner. Grear and David Bunting, not shown, did the community work on behalf of Barnesville American Legion Post #168.

Patty Lou Crum Van Dyne, 85, of Beallsville, Ohio passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2026 in the home that she loved following a long illness.
