Jet Will Soar at Union Local High School

The Union Local School District will celebrate the dedication of the F-16 Fighter jet that is on its way to the school, next summer after a long-time battle to bring a jet to the school.

Although the Afterburners committee did not share when the jet will be arriving at the school, UL Jets Afterburners chairwoman Taylore Frasnelly shared the dedication for the jet will take place on June 22, 2026.

Christmas Market Featured at the Farm at Old World Garden

QUAKER CITY — The Farm at Old World Garden welcomes a first-ever Christmas market by an organization to invite the community to enjoy chili, music, support vendors and celebrate the season. 

Old World Garden owners Jim and Mary Competti will host From Scratch Co-Op’s first ever Christmas market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 13 at 65780 Pisgah Rd., Quaker City.
