Barnesville Schools Welcome New PLTW and VEX Robotics Teacher
Project Lead the Way classes and the VEX V5 Robotics Competitions program have a new teacher ready to educate students about engineering principles.

McKivitz, 49ers Agree to Extension
On Monday, the San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has signed Offensive Lineman Colton McKivitz to a three-year extension through the 2028 season.
FFA Mum Sale
The Barnesville High FFA is selling their homegrown fall mums to support their program at Hissom’s Service Center, 827 East Main Street after school until 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Barnesville Schools Go Cell Phone Free
The Barnesville Exempted Village School District has adopted a no cell phone policy to stay in compliance with the state law.
The no cell phone policy extends to the high school, middle and elementary school.
After a law passed in the State of Ohio, all schools must adopt a policy prohibiting cell phone use by students during the instructional day by Jan. 1 2026.
