The Barnesville Shamrocks fell 14-5 to the visiting Edison Wildcats Wednesday, May 6 at Barnesville Memorial Park despite out-hitting them 12 to 11.

In a four-game set at Barnesville Memorial Park, the Shamrock Junior High team won both of their games to claim the title for the first Paul B. Burkhart Junior High Softball Classic Sunday May 3 at Barnesville Memorial Park.

Barnesville Green Bronco won Thursday evening 17-0 over Union Local to increase their record to 2-0 on the season. It was the team’s second shutout victory.
